CANOEINGSugar Creek, one of Indiana's most scenic rivers, flows right through the heart of Turkey Run State Park. While the park does not operate any canoe services, several local canoe liveries operate on Sugar Creek.
In addition, two public access points to Sugar Creek exist just outside Turkey Run: one upstream of the Narrows Covered Bridge at the Brush Creek canoe ramp, and one downstream at a canoe ramp by Cox Ford Covered Bridge. Click here for more information about public access points. Notice: Swimming in Sugar Creek is prohibited. The creek can be extremely dangerous - take no chances!
