Again this year the Indiana Department of Natural Resources will offer reduced rates to senior citizens. The rates will be in effect on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights during the months of April, May, September and October. The goal of this program is to encourage senior citizens who may be able to camp on a more flexible schedule to do so.

Any senior citizen age 60 or older will be able to register for a campsite at reduced fee Sunday through Wednesday, except holiday weekends, during the months of April, May, August, September and October. Class A sites will be reduced from $22.00 to $17.00.

The discount is good for reservations or walk up campers. Campers making reservations must ask for the discount when they make the reservation. It cannot be done retroactively. The senior citizen must be present at the time of registration to be eligible for this discount.
